Florida’s theme parks know how to make a day feel enormous.
Little ones can meet Disney Princesses, superheroes and storybook favourites, while bigger thrill-seekers can head for the icons - Space Mountain at Walt Disney World Resort, The Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando Resort, and plenty more white-knuckle moments in between.
It’s not all loop-the-loops, either. Slow the pace with character breakfasts, colourful parades and water park downtime, then round it all off with an evening of bangs and whizzes at Disney's firework display.

Game night in Florida comes with serious atmosphere. Catch the Orlando Magic landing slam dunks on home court, or lean into the full NFL spectacle with the Miami Dolphins or Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Big crowds, bold jerseys, all-American energy, it’s a proper holiday plot twist.
Shopping brings its own kind of thrill. Bag a bargain or two at Orlando’s Premium Outlets, where designer names come with tempting price tags. Or make Miami your style stop, with polished boutiques, favourite high-street brands and the huge Dolphin Mall made for a big browse.
